  • Location: 1509 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20036
  • Duties: Provides management of the organization’s Senior Services Program. The clientele served includes, individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and various age categories. Supervises and coordinates activities of senior service staff, volunteers and students of school of social work. Responsible for monitoring the program’s quality assurance program, budget, grants and contractual relationships.
  • Qualifications: MSW degree in Social Work, licensed at the LICSW level plus 3 years of related work experience in the aging field and/or training, 2 years supervisory experience and knowledge of community needs and resources. Limited travel is required within the Washington Metro area. Valid DC or MD driver’s license. Clean driving record.
  • Location: 1509 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20036
  • Duties: Reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for all fund raising related events; developing and submitting proposals; identifies potential contributors; knowledge of protocol and interacting with board members.
  • Qualifications: Communications / Marketing or Public Relations Degree with 10 years work related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experiences required.
  • Location: 1509 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20036
  • Duties: Schedules appointments, answers and screens unit telephone calls, arranges conference calls, coordinates supervisors schedule and makes appointments. Composes and types correspondence, including e-mails and faxes. Maintains filing systems and other records.
  • Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED with one (1) year work related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Location: 1318 Saratoga Ave., NE #2, Washington, DC 20018
  • Duties: Delivers services in conjunction with Child and Family Services (CFSA). Develops Individual Service Plan for internal/external use. Utilizes FACES when necessary; obtains assistance for clients by referring to community resources, arranging appointments, coordinating with other organizations. Maintain records by documenting services and progress of clients.
  • Qualifications: MSW with LGSW or LICSW in DC. Good assessment and writing skills, PC proficiency. Must have own vehicle. Valid driver’s license required. Clean driving record.
  • Location: 1509 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20036
  • Duties: Provides services to seniors and their families in the community by assessing their needs; setting goals; and obtaining and delivering required services.
  • Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work with LICSW in DC. Good assessment and writing skills, PC proficiency. Valid driver’s license and an automobile required. Position requires Bilingual Spanish speaking individual.
  • Location: Markham, VA
  • Duties: Ability to cook, plan meals and develop menus against the USDA nutritional requirements. Ability to work with and supervise others, especially youth. Medical clearances and Serve Sate Certification required.
  • Qualifications: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One year in supervisory capacity in school, commercial or institutional kitchen. . Must be at least 25 years of age. On-site or local commute position.
  • Location: Markham, VA
  • Duties: Responsible for the daily welfare and adjustment to camp life of a cabin group of 8-10 male or females ages 7-14 years of age. Ability to plan and assist in the instruction of program activities (e.g. arts & crafts, recreation).
  • Qualifications: One year certificate for college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Location: Markham, VA
  • Duties: Supervise five (5) counselors and junior staff and 24-32 campers. Directly responsible for the program implementation of the unit. Ability to plan and teach a variety of instructional program activities) e.g. arts &crafts, recreation). Interpret Rules, policies and traditions of the camp to the campers and staff. Assist program staff as needed with full camp program. Must have problem solving and program planning skills. Experience with outdoor and camping programs
  • Qualifications: Associates Degree or equivalent form two-year College or technical school; or six-months to one year work related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous residential experience required.
  • Location: Markham, VA
  • Duties: Oversees the health and wellness of the campers and staff on-site. Experience with child/health camp programs preferred.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. RN/ or LPN license in Virginia. Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
  • Location: Markham, VA
  • Duties: Develop and operate a daily and diverse program geared to the interests, ages and abilities of campers. Documented experience in training or certification in skill area. Manage, organize and inventory equipment required for program implementation. Instruct campers in hands-on activities; assist with conducting mini-workshops with staff for professional development.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
